It’s suitable for all ages and fitness levels —from beginners to advanced.
The Reformer is a Pilates apparatus with a sliding carriage, springs, and straps that provide resistance and support to enhance your workout safely.
Comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes are best. We require grip socks to be worn at all times for safety and control. Please take your shoes off once you enter the studio.
Our classes have a maximum of 5 participants to ensure personalised attention and a friendly supportive atmosphere.
Just yourself and a water bottle. We provide all the Pilates equipment you’ll need.
We have free parking onsite, once you arrive at the venue please follow the signs for Pura Pilates to park just outside the studio!
Yes, reformer pilates can be very effective for rehabilitation and managing pain when done under expert guidance. You will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire when booking your first class at Pura Pilates. Depending on your injury and the severity of it, we may recommend a 1:1 session before joining a class.
Yes but you should always check with your doctor before doing any kind of exercise during and after pregnancy. Pilates tends to be particularly suitable for pregnant women, since it is a low-impact form of exercise that strengthens the back, stomach and pelvic floor muscles. Some exercises may need to be modified while pregnant or post natal. Please let us know if you are pregnant or post natal on the medical questionnaire when booking a class.
We have no refund policy. You can reschedule your class bookings up to 24 hours before the start of the class. Late cancellations or no-shows are charged in full.
You must be at least 16 years old to participate in our classes.
